President: Denise Mack
Hi, I am Denise Mack and I joined Foundation 46 in early 2023 as Vice President and transitioned to President of Foundation 46 in the summer of 2023. My husband, Stephen, and I have lived in Grayslake for over 20 years. We have three children Isabella, Christian and Abigail and because of all of their amazing experiences and staff in D46, I have had a passion to give back to the District. I dedicated 8 years on the Woodview School PTO and joined Foundation 46 to continue to give back and support our District 46 staff and families. In addition to my work in the Grayslake community, I have also served as a Board Member and Conference Committee Chair for the Joubert Syndrome Foundation for over a decade, a non-for-profit close to my heart and family. I bring experience in community building, event planning and fundraising to Foundation 46 and I am very excited for this opportunity to raise awareness of Foundation 46’s mission. Professionally, I am a Senior Education Delivery Manager for the College of American Pathologists. When I am not working or volunteering my time, you will see me on the sidelines supporting my children in their passions, taking road trips with my family and making memories along the way. I am looking forward to continuing to support the Foundation 46 mission and D46 staff in some fun community building opportunities!

My name is Jennifer Everett and I recently joined Foundation46 as a Board Member. I have heard about all the wonderful things the organization does through my twin sister, Jessica Medina, for the past few years. My son is a first grader in the district and I thought now was the perfect time to help out our community and support the school system he is a part of. I work in the education field as a Reading Interventionist and have taught elementary school for more than ten years. I hope that my experience as a mom, teacher, and a Grayslake community member will bring ideas and opportunities to Foundation46. Outside of work, I love being a sports mom, traveling, spending time with my family, crafting, and playing games with my son. We love Great America, taking walks, and visiting some of our favorite places right here in Grayslake! I am excited about this new journey and look forward to contributing to District 46!
Director: Shalaigh Koehl
Hi! I’m Shalaigh Koehl and I joined Foundation 46 this year as a Board Member as well as a member of both our Fundraising and Community Awareness Committees. Professionally, I’m a Director of Sales in the Healthcare and Educational industries and I truly enjoy my work. Personally, I live with my husband and four sons, three of which attend D46 schools and one who attends Grayslake Central. While my boys keep me busy with their multiple sports, I also enjoy sand volleyball, adult kickball, boating on the Chain O’Lakes, and attending country music concerts in my “spare” time.
I’ve lived in Grayslake for 16 years and am passionate about our community and the opportunities for our children to learn and grow. I’m excited to help provide fun ways to contribute these opportunities and am looking forward to a successful year with Foundation 46!
